Looks like i am going to wait for another month more before i decide on this or just go with an Iphone4.

After several days of switching over from heavy loaded firefox, there are a lot of getting used to for Google Chrome. Firstly, it is fast. And that is about it.

There is a serious lack of add-ons that is making the browser a “glance-thru”, however, the sluggishness of firefox is seriously making me jump to the current fastest or reasonably fast browser.

There is a serious problem with using Google Chrome, it is almost the same as IE. Seriously handicap!!!  Which explained why I never liked IE and choose to use Netscape Navigator (those old timers of internet users might know) . The function of open link in new window in maximized mode has never been an issue with firefox, but same as IE it does.

After vomiting blood and hair-pulling for several days, i have managed to found the “solution” midst lots of trying several solutions that were stated to work but doesnt.

So here is the solution that has been bugging me since the switched over:
There are two chrome shortcuts that needed to change for its command:
a) the chrome shortcut icon on the desktop
b) >> start >> all programs >> Google Chrome >> “Google Chrome” shortcut

1. right click on the Google Chrome shortcut
2. click on ‘Properties’
3. click on ‘Shortcut’ tab
4. in ‘Target’ you add -start-maximized at the end of the line :
“C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe” -start-maximized
5. Make sure “Run”  is “Normal window”.
6. click Apply on the bottom and then click OK.
